Glass Tinting Solutions is a locally owned tinting business based in Seventeen Mile Rocks. Cory Jones has tinted cars, homes and offices across Brisbane, Ipswich and Logan for 18 years, and he still quotes and installs most jobs himself.
Meet Cory Jones, owner and director
Hi, I’m Cory. I started tinting in 2008, working in car dealerships where every job had to be right before the car went back on the showroom floor. That’s where I learnt to take my time on prep, get clean edges and never let a car leave with bubbles or dust under the film.
I started Glass Tinting Solutions in 2008 after learning the trade in car dealerships. Today we tint cars, trucks, homes and offices, and we apply ceramic coating and paint protection film to new and used vehicles. We can coat almost everything on a car: paint, wheels, glass, fabric, leather and some plastics.
Film and coating technology keeps changing, so I keep training on new products as they come out. If a product doesn’t hold up in Queensland sun, we don’t use it.

Straight answers on price and legal tint
You get a clear quote before any work starts. For cars, we’ll tell you which shades are legal in Queensland so you don’t end up with a defect notice.
Home and office jobs measured on site
We come out, measure up and talk through the options in person, so the quote matches the job. The measure and quote are free.
Clean installs
Film is cut to fit, edges are sealed and the glass is prepped properly first. That’s what stops peeling and bubbles a year down the track.
Open Saturdays
Handy if you can’t be without the car during the week.

The films we use and the warranty behind them
For vehicles we use the Ultra Gard range (Genesis, Vanta, Oxide, Pristine and others). For homes and businesses we also install 3M window and security films.
Every film we install comes with a lifetime manufacturer-backed warranty. If the film fails, the manufacturer stands behind it and so do we.
Pay over time. Through our partnership with AutoGuru, you can split the cost with Afterpay, Humm or Zip.
Window tinting across Brisbane’s west, Ipswich and Logan
Car jobs are done at our workshop at Unit 2/152 Bluestone Circuit, Seventeen Mile Rocks, just off the Centenary Motorway. Drop the car off in the morning and most cars are ready the same day.
For homes and offices, we come to you. We cover Brisbane’s western and southern suburbs, Ipswich, Greater Springfield and Logan, including Jindalee, Mount Ommaney, Darra, Oxley, Forest Lake, Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights and Browns Plains. Mobile car tinting is also available if you can’t get to the workshop.

Who owns Glass Tinting Solutions?
Cory Jones owns and runs Glass Tinting Solutions. He has been tinting cars, homes and commercial buildings since 2008, after starting his career in car dealerships. He’s still involved in quoting and installing, so you deal with the owner rather than a call centre.
Where is Glass Tinting Solutions located?
Our workshop is at Unit 2/152 Bluestone Circuit, Seventeen Mile Rocks QLD 4073. Car tinting, ceramic coating and paint protection are done at the workshop. For home and office tinting we come to you anywhere across Brisbane’s western and southern suburbs, Ipswich, Greater Springfield and Logan.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. The films we install carry a lifetime manufacturer-backed warranty. If the film peels, bubbles or discolours because of a product fault, it’s covered. We’ll explain exactly what’s included for your film when we quote.
Can I pay off my tinting?
Yes. Through our partnership with AutoGuru you can pay with Afterpay, Humm or Zip. It’s handy for bigger jobs like full home tinting or a ceramic coating package, where you’d rather spread the cost over a few months.
Is your car tint legal in Queensland?
We only install shades that meet Queensland rules, and we’ll tell you before we start what’s legal for your front and rear windows. If you’re unsure what your car already has, we can check it for you.
